Louis Helmsley (Ludwig Mjeda) is from Melbourne originally but has been settled in the south west Victoria area, Warrnambool, the past 7 years and has been a regular performer at Rafferty's Tavern and Izzy's Restaurant in Koroit. He performs originals and covers at his gigs, his influences include Cat Stevens, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Elvis and Traveling Wilbury's to name a few.
Louis Helmsley is proud to have released his first music clip (Street Lamp) this month from his album "Musical Harmony" that was released in 2014. The video has scenes of Warrnambool lane- ways and familiar buildings in town, it is really creative and a great effort done with his friends. Between 2000 & 2018 Louis has released 10 albums of original music and a few DVDs. He currently performs as a soloist, in the past his band was named "Helmsley".
