Sanny Veloo, a Singapore-born Australian rock artist, continues to make waves with his relentless energy, DIY ethos, and unforgettable live performances. From his rebellious beginnings with the controversial Singaporean band Boredphucks, which faced a government-imposed performance ban, to his thriving career in Melbourne’s vibrant rock scene, Sanny’s journey is one of resilience and reinvention.

After migrating to Australia, Sanny co-founded The Suns, a band built on camaraderie and the love of rock. Tragedy struck with the untimely passing of drummer Wayne Thunder, but rather than halting his career, Sanny honored their shared vision by pushing forward. This spirit of perseverance led to the formation of EMPRA, a project that celebrated friendship and passion for music, gaining international acclaim and sharing stages with acts like Fall Out Boy, Weezer, and British India.

Now, Sanny embarks on a bold solo venture with his latest single, "A Brighter Tomorrow." Produced by ARIA Award-winner Michael Badger (Amyl & the Sniffers, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard), the track is a high-energy anthem of resilience, unity, and hope. Blending driving rock grooves with anthemic choruses and a guitar solo that nods to legends like Tom Morello and Santana, the song delivers an electrifying call to action. With lyrics urging compassion, unity, and a collective push against division, "A Brighter Tomorrow" reflects Sanny’s unwavering commitment to using music as a force for change.

The single will debut live at Melbourne’s iconic Espy Gershwin Room on 23 November 2024, promising an unforgettable celebration of hope and resilience.
